JOURNALIST IN RESIDENCE
This innovative program seeks to promote excellence in scientific journalism by bringing science writers and journalists into contact with physicists working at the frontiers of science. Scientific discoveries are increasingly in the news, but are increasingly complex and interdisciplinary. Their impact on our lives is profound, making the need for excellence in science writing all the more imperative. Through their informal interaction with the writers, scientists can enhance their ability to communicate with journalists, thereby improving the communication of science to the general public.

ART, IMAGE AND SCIENCE
Through this initiative the KITP seeks to provide a dynamic crucible where non-scientists and scientists alike can explore and benefit from the vibrant relationships between art and science.
